Sometimes when we are working day to day, we simply go about our jobs. We know that God is working with us or we wouldn't be able to do what we do, but we kind of take it for granted.

Then, things happen that are so clearly orchestrated by Him that we can't help but feel His presence. It is always exciting when we see His hands at work. I know we are always supposed to know that but He is gracious enough to give us glimpses of His loving care.

This week we were supposed to give a woman a refrigerator. Hers had died and she couldn't afford a new one. She is on Social Security and her daughter is disabled. We happened to have one stored in our medical equipment closet so we met her there and she was to take it home in her pick-up. Her daughter came along. When she saw that we had an electric scooter, she wanted to know how she could get on the list for one. We had just been praying-that day-about who to give the scooters to (we had three of them). So, we were able to bless her with a scooter.

That night, we received a call from a volunteer from a church-she had new member in their congregation who needed a scooter and couldn't afford one. The next morning we had a call from a 3rd person who had broken her leg and had other disabilities and needed a scooter. They are now all gone to good homes. Since we had had those scooters in storage for months, I found it so fun to have God provide homes for all 3 of them in 1.5 days.
