As noon approached on December 5, the excitement built. Knollbrook Church had been transformed into a store with many toys, Christmas decorations, wrapping stations, and even bicycles for children. Those whose appointments were at noon, waited eagerly for the doors to open.

Many of you contributed toys and gifts to our "Christmas Store". Many of our clients volunteered hours at your churches to earn vouchers to spend for gifts at this store. This is the second year that we have had this and it was so appreciated by many. They had the chance to work for what they were getting.

A little girl received a doll with a carrier. It had been donated by a child who wanted to sacrifice her favorite toy for another child who had nothing. Someone hand crafted baby blankets, toys and hats -- lovely and soft. Someone else made beautiful pot holders.

It was so fun to see many people wrapping their gifts and getting them ready to bring home. It was great to see child-care provided by loving volunteers so parents could shop without interruption. Thank you all for your contributions, prayers and participation.
