How does the Bible tell us to show love to one another? It says that we should be willing to give our lives.

Usually we think of that as dying physically for someone else. However, we can die to our own desires and wishes on behalf of someone else as well. This month an older woman gives up her desires to have time for herself and picks up children three times a week. It would be far easier for her to say that she's too busy. But she doesn't-she gives up her own wants for someone else's need. Other wonderful volunteers are helping a single mom-her children have head lice and they need help with combing their hair. That is not a fun job but it is showing love.

A man gave us his van which is being given to a family with a disabled child. Now they can go places such as church together as a family. He could have sold his van, but he was willing to give that up so someone else would be blessed.

I can't possibly begin to tell you all the stories of people giving up their lives for another because they love Jesus and want to do as He would do. But I can let you all know that you are appreciated, you are loved and we are so grateful for your wonderful examples.
